Impact 57

Our Origin

Impact 57 was founded with a clear vision: to create a lasting legacy of impact driven by the University of Texas McCombs School of Business Executive MBA community.

The idea was initiated by Nalini Ganta (EMBA Class of 2023), who recognized an opportunity to transform the Capstone Project initiative into a scalable platform for ongoing philanthropy. What began as a Capstone Project—funding UT Outpost, a campus-based food and clothing program—quickly evolved into something much larger.

Within a short period of time, that vision was developed into Impact 57: a structured, alumni-driven initiative designed to connect Executive MBA students—past and present—with meaningful opportunities to fund and support high-impact community projects.

Today, Impact 57 serves as a platform for leaders and alumni to not only give back, but to do so with intention, alignment, and measurable impact.

The Name

Impact 57 was inspired by the 57 students of the Executive MBA Class of 2023 who came together with a shared commitment to create meaningful, lasting impact.

What began as a collective decision by one class represents something much larger: a foundation built on leadership, generosity, and forward-thinking purpose. While rooted in the Class of 57, Impact 57 is designed to grow far beyond it—bringing together Executive MBA alumni from past, present, and future cohorts to amplify impact across generations.
